Avocado Hummus

This vibrant green hummus recipe couldn't be easier! Super healthy and scruptious!

Just toss a few ingredients in the food processor and whiz away!

Serve with veggie chips, pita chips. I also love it dolloped on top of a good ole hassle back backed potato - yum!

 Ingredients:

  • 2 cups of canned chickpeas

  • 1 large avocado

  • 3 TBS tahini

  • Juice of 1 lemon

  • ¼ tsp cumin

  • 2 cloves of garlic

  • ½ cup of flat leaf parsley or coriander

  • Salt and pepper

 

Method

Combine avocado, chickpeas, tahini, garlic, cumin and parsley or coriander to a food processor and blend until creamy.

Add more lemon juice, salt and pepper or tahini to your taste and consistency that you desire.

 

Optional – depending on your taste buds 😊

  • Sprinkle of chili flakes

  • Maple syrup
